How Expressive Shantia Can Be?
My conscious sort of show in my personality. A creative side the past of the human mind suggests a teen's future. I write not because it's needed, but because I aim to accomplish it.
To suceed it in the world's society as an African American woman. Glistening in a fancy, expensive lifestyle to please my surroundings. This is me.
Hello my name is Shantia Garrett.
I'm a sophmore at West York Area High School.
York is pretty darn weird and quiet, but I love it.
Transitioning from Maryland to Pennsylvania is the best thing that has happened to me in 2007.
I love my life. In all of my expectations, I want to please myself.
An African American is what I am.
I can't change that. When some people hear African American, I guess they believe some are stupid, lazy, and ignorant, when there are acutally some of us in the world trying to make something of our lives.
I love my boyfriend. His name is Brandon, a junior at Bladensburg High School in Maryland. He's white and we believe in interracial relationships.
Writing..... writing is a way of expression.
That is my way to heal a feeling of anger.
I have an annoying little brother who I love to lock out of the house and kick him out of my room!
HA! He's still my best friend.
My athletic side is unacknowledged.
I love volleyball, basketball, football, baseball
you know America's usual sports!
I have many phobias, unfortunately.
No, none of them is a fear of partying, if that's a such thing.
I want Bush out of office immediately!
I mean this stupid war is soo pathetic, that it makes me naturally sick.
Democrats rule (sorry Republicans)!
I hope one day I can mark the end of my high school career with my very own published book of poetry.
Teen Takeover Rules, meaning the 28 members. It's going to be a spectacular year.

WOW we have a lot in common! I love your comment about not being afraid to party! Haha. I strongly believe in interracial relationships, I'm dating a boy who was adopted from Peru as a baby. Writing is an amazing way of expression- and I also am a strong democrat, although my family wishes I wasn't. I get into a lot of political arguments at home. I can't wait to hear more from you!
