Wow.

Have you ever just randomly started talking to someone that you hadn’t talked to in a long time, and realized that you barely knew who they were anymore? It’s really sad sometimes, like when the person was your best friend and you simply lost touch. Before you know it, they’re off talking about something you never would have thought in a million years they would care about, and that close bond you had is…gone. The close bond that allows late-night conversations where you end up finishing each others’ sentences because you know what your friend means before they do. You can honestly say that you knew what they were going to feel about something before it even happened. They let you make your mistakes and then they helped you fix them.

And then, you don’t even know who they are. It’s like they traded lives with someone. It’s hard to admit to yourself that it really is who they are, and that you’ve changed as well. It’s just a hard realization…

Unfortunatly I know exactly what you are talking about. The more I think about it the more it upsets me. Sucks, but what can you do?

Ohhhh my goodness, this has happened to me so much lately. What with some friends packing up and leaving for college, while others are going through new experiences on their own, it’s a wonder I know them anymore. Did this happen to you recently? I feel your pain. Hopefully you rekindle some of that closeness.

Yes, it’s one of the most awkward and unnatural feelings in the world. As Dylan said, it sucks.

Yes i know all about it….then when you do talk again after all that time it’s a little weird, then if you talk again it’s less weird but you know you’ll never have back what you had before you lost touch…
