Divorce and Summer School

| | Comments (1)

Ok, I know that these two topics have nothing to do with eachother, but they're in my life (not directly me) and it's worrying.

What do you think of divorce? (the effect on kids) My friend's dad just moved out last night, and I'm scared that her parents will really divorce.

Should you have to pay for summer school? I have another friend who has to repeat seventh grade because he couldn't afford summer school. I honestly think that's horrible!

I have no idea about divorce really. But as for summer school I think it depends on the reason that the person failed. I don't think they should have to pay for it if they missed too much time due to an illness or failed due to a learning disability, etc. However, there are also a lot of kids who just flat out don't care and I think those are the ones who should have to pay. I suppose if they have a good reason for failing the school year I think that the school should do as much as they can to help them, however, if they were just plain lazy and didn't care that's another story.
