I had to go to Wal-Mart to get new tootbrush heads for my power toothbrush today. Every time I go there I hate it even more! It smells, it's dirty, I can never find what I want, and when I do find it 30 other people are also looking at it. Does anyone else hate Wal-Mart?
I HATE Wal-Mart!

Yep, I do too. I honestly can't tell you the last time I was in a Wal-Mart. It's been at least two years.
I hate it too, for these reasons:
*It's too overwhelming. The moment I walk through the door, I forget what I came for, even if I have a list.
*It is always too crowded when I have time to go, which is usually on weekends, like the rest of the world.
*Because I have to go on weekends like the rest of the world, the store is usually out of whatever I'm looking for.
*I feel guilty when I shop there because I know Wal Mart has such a big role in putting little mom-and-pop shops out of business.
I love Target. It's really the best thing that could ever happen to this WalMart-crazed society.
I agree with the smell. The crowds bother me too. The prices are not the best either.
I don't like it either! "Big Box Mart" on jibjab.com is a great expression of why not.
Wal-Mart is overwhelming and maybe dirty sometimes, too, but you can't fault it for the concept. Even if the majority of people hate Wal-Mart, they don't show it by shopping elsewhere - or there would be no Wal-Marts.
And I think the "big-mean business" stereotype has hurt Wal-Mart's public image, even though I haven't seen evidence that it's as big and mean as the left likes to say.
