Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior

Which school year's the hardest?

As a freshman, I was always told, "Freshman year's the worst. You have to adjust, but once you're past that, you're fine." Sophomore year rolled along and people told me, "Sophomore year's the most work, but if you survive that, you'll have smooth sailing from there on out."

Now, as I begin my junior year, people tell me that this is the worst year because colleges are watching your every move. Direct quote from an older friend: "Junior year sucks." Don't get me wrong--I've liked high school. But which year is the most challenging?

And may I note, that judging from what I've seen and heard, senior year does not qualify as an answer.

Junior

I think it was last year. This year may prove me wrong, but I hated sophomore year.

Junior year, for sure. But I guess it also depends on how you push yourself.

I think it depends on what classes and teachers you have. My sophomore year was harder because of what classes/teachers I had, but my junior year was filled with moderately-hard courses, as well as tons of SAT prep courses, SATs, and extracurriculars for college. Just depends.

(Haha, I meant to help you, but I don't think I really did!)
