Tomorrow morning, I'll be off to Bloomsburg University for a week of field hockey camp (during what is to be the hottest week of the summer...oh great). Therefore, tonight has been devoted to making a "Hockey Camp '07" mix for my iPod. Oh, and packing...
This is my room right now:
mountains of white beaters, freshly laundered...
a large, technicolor pile of shorts...
an even larger pile of mismatched socks, that I think I might just throw in because I'm tired of looking for the matches...
about three suitcases, half-full...
four different "to-do" and "don't forget" lists spread throughout this chaotic haven...
shampoo, conditioner, hair bands, deodorant, soap, and about a million other products spread throughout my three suitcases and my bed (those haven't quite found their way into a suitcase yet)...
cleats and sneakers which have both been cleaned and re-cleaned, yet still hold a distinct odor of sweat and hockey field...
shin guards, more socks, mouthguards...
I still haven't packed my sticks yet. I can't see my floor or my bed. And this is simply for four days of camp...what's going to happen when I go to college? I should probably start packing as soon as I get back...

Ugh, I know the feeling. Up until recently I've been living out of a suit case this summer. I've been away more than I've been home. I can completly understand your packing woes.
