Captain Hook at YLT

Lights! Sound! Action!
Captain Hook, an original musical based on the story of Peter Pan hits York Little Theatre's stage tonight. This show is done entirely by today's youth, ranging from the ages of a three-year-old fairy to an eighteen-year-old Smee.

Captain Hook (Blake Auburn) and Tinker Bell (Angel Harris)

The director, Erin Rosner (age 17), and co-director, Stephen Payne (age 14) have confidence that everyone will enjoy this new take on the tale of Never Never Land. The songs are catchy, the dances are silly, the sword fights are seat-gripping, and the actors are full of energy. This musical was originally shown in a Virginia community theatre with great success, but will make its Pennsylvania premier this weekend.
The show was added to the end of the 74th season because the next children's show was not scheduled until December and the feeling was that that was too long of a wait.

Tickets are $5 (donation suggestion).
Performances are:
Friday at 7PM
Saturday at 3PM & 7PM
Sunday at 3PM

It's great fun to watch Hook run from the Croc or see the Mermaids lure with their song.
Casting choices were spectacular. Hook, Pan, and Wendy all have excellent voices. The fairies are incredibly cute, too!
