Faire

It's the magic of the Pennsylvania Renassiance Faire!

My dad and I went yesterday, and it was such a blast [from the past]! We went throught huge castle gates, passing over into a whole other world. There were kings, queens, jesters and knights. I even pet a dragon! Well, small lizard, but it's close enough.

We watched an example of falconing, and even toured a museum of torture. My dad and I were eating a turkey leg when we went through the dungeon, so now whenever I see some kind of large leg, I think of all the torture, and I feel sick. Some of that stuff was crazy!

There was magic, too. A small, stuffy shop lit with candles and smelling thick of incense (I purchased some of it). There were pentograms, worry dolls, books. It was a bit scary, but still cool.

At a little bend, close to the jousting ring, there was a henna tatoo stand. Guess what I got?? A pentogram with all sorts of swirls tattooed on my forearm. It should last about two weeks, so this should be interesting at school.

The joust was epic. They replayed famous fights in history, and set the set on fire! Epic! The horses thundered onto the field in full armor, fire in their eyes. I took so many pictures of the thing, we had two memory cards. So worth it though.

I'll upload the pictures later. Comment please!
