How to waste a whole day (and maybe even a weekend, if you're good) . . .

| | Comments (0)

There are a few essential things you need:
- a Myspace account
- a Facebook account
- a Gaia account
- Friends whom you've met from all over the world through these sites (but that fact remains that you don't really know them)

Okay? After getting those essential items, you must constantly maintain and update them. You will have to spend at least a good hour trying to find that perfect layout that defines you in the perfect mix of colors and images. Write up silly interests such as "asking people if they have change for a nickel" to attract even more friends.
Now that you've met several hundred people through these sites, you will need to talk to them through messages and comments back and forth at least twice a day.
Posting pointless bulletins on Myspace is a must: answer every question on every quiz you find, go into meaningless details so as to spend ten minutes on each question; inform people about everything you do: when you go get lunch, when you accidentally bumped your funny bone on your chair and now it hurts, etc.
On Facebook, you must update your status every 2 - 3 minutes or else people will start to wonder what has happened to you.
You have to obsess about having tons of gold on Gaia and having the most creative avatar. If you're not creative enough to win any contests, just look rich and pile on tons of items so people will think you are cool.

You will now successfully be able to waste a sufficient amount of time on your computer. Please enjoy yourself.
