You know the summer's ending when...
Well, it's time to roll into fall I suppose. Not that I couldn't tell from the cooler weather lately. I mean, fall's great, it has it's own aura about it. But materialistically...my favorite ice cream shop down the street is closing for the summer; tonight's their last night :( The ice cream's so good! The owners took a food science course at Penn State, so the ice cream's all homemade, and they're always thinking up new flavors. (Those of you who've been to the Creamery at PSU, you'll get what I'm saying). I've had a great summer and I'm ready for fall, but...why did they have to close Bonkey's?

Ice cream is one of my favorite things about summer. We shall mourn its passing...
Don't get me wrong. I'll eat it whenever presented with the opportunity, but I only actively seek it out and crave it in summer.
