Philadelphia is home to 75 universities and colleges and more than
100,000 students.
Among these schools is Drexel University, a Division I school that
boasts 73 majors along with an unique co-op program that allows students to
complete an internship for college credit.
While at Drexel, undergraduates will never get bored in this city of
more than 1.5 million. There is plenty to do on campus, from grabbing a meal at
the Handschumacher Dining Center to working out at Daskalakis Athletic Center,
which will be renovated sometime this year.
Outside of University City, there are many more opportunities for
keeping students busy (when they're not studying, of course!).
Philadelphia offers several unique museums from the Philadelphia Museum
of Art (attention poor college students: it's free on Sundays!) to the new
National Constitution Center. For those ready for a break from city life, Drexel
is only a block from the 30th Street train station.
