Is anyone else feeling the full effect of school yet?
The first couple weeks of school seem so sedate--they're full of meaningless paperwork and getting together with your friends after a looooong summer!
Afterwards, though, the truth hits hard.
I'm so full of juggling school, tennis, and work that I can't think straight half the time and never get to doing half of the things on my priority list. As a senior, I was told this year was "easy." Apparently, the seniors that told me that had something else in mind.
I'm zooming around the school to get everything done all the time; I'm sure a lot of you can sympathize with the feeling! I think the best advice to chill this hectic mind of mine and of everyone else experiencing the same feeling is to take a deep breath and try to get things done one at a time. It seems extremely overwhelming if you think of it all at once.
Let's see if I can follow my own advice--and I hope that everyone else that's feeling stressed by this time of the year can take a chill pill with me! :)

You bet I'm feeling the full effect of school. But as you said, I'm getting things done one at a time.
If students would actually do their work instead of procrastinating, they would find that they'd feel a lot better about having tons of work to do.
I'm going to go do my laundry. I plan on studying math homework at the same time.
