Another Christmas

Ah! the Christmas bug a crept up on me again!

I guess its true, the older you get the less you care about Christmas presents, and good stuff like that. I remember when I was little I would actually count down the days till Christmas. This year I wasn't as excited. I didn't have the Christmas bug up my butt this year. I hardly decorated my room. I didn't put up a little minuture Christmas tree like I normaly do every year. Or watch those old crappy Christmas movies no says they like but secretly watch every year. Christmas just kind of snuck up on me. I don't even remember anyone at school evening saying merry Christmas. No one had a party, or handed out candy canes. I didn't even see the Santa from the Good Will at Target ringing his bell for money. I barely saw and Christmas lights up, or anything! I wasn't to enthusiastic myself. Maybe its just me or maybe York was in a stupper and didn't even notice Christmas was finally here. But either way another year has gone by so quickly, and I wish you all a happy New Year, which is just around the corner.

I agree with you Corinne, it's weird getting older, especially when it comes to the holidays. I would say, while you're in high school and college, try to enjoy having the time off to spend with your family, because you won't always have that. And if there is any way you can be around little kids, that totally helps get you back in the Christmas spirit. My niece and nephews helped me appreciate the holidays with their enthusiasm.
