Let it snow (for now)

Who doesn't enjoy an early dismissal? I think I'd be hard-pressed to find any student who opposes missing their last few classes of the day to instead go home and enjoy an afternoon off. So, the snow is enjoyable--for the most part.

So, I'm pumped; we get out at 12:45, which means I get to miss Chem II =) Unfortunately, I wasn't ready for snow. I had no winter coat, no hat, no gloves. I was wearing heels (you said "just a dusting" Doug Allen!!!!). My car was covered in snow; the parking lot covered in ice. I had to take the long way which took a half hour, much longer in comparison to my usual 10-minutes to school routine. Perhaps instead of concerning themselves with serving everyone lunch, they should have pushed up lunch periods and left us out a decent time. My poor car can barely handle the rain, much less the snow! =(

But, I'm going to bake cookies and drink hot chocolate now which hopefully will put me in a better mood. And maybe Shurfine will close and I'll get out of work tonight?

Haha, well I can dream, can't I?
