Photo-editing program a walk in the park

| | Comments (0)

Picnik is photo-editing software that is accessible online. It offers an easy alternative for people who do not have Adobe Photoshop. With the program, a user can manipulate photos with easy-to-use tools that are similar to Photoshop. Anyone can upload photos and alter them by cropping, adjusting color, sharpness and even removing red-eye.

What sets Picnik apart is the price. Photoshop costs about $600, depending on the edition. Picnik is completely free when you register, unless you sign up for the advanced version with more tools and effects, which costs $24.95 a year. Picnik is also very simple to use, while Photoshop is not exactly user-friendly.

The Picnik program is just what the name implies, a "picnik" in the park.
