A 'Lucky Charm' All Its Own

While college hunting in Philly last Saturday, I discovered a place that I'd only heard of before as a legend.

Was it Stonehenge? The Colesseum? Sesame Street?

No. It was a cereal bar.

You heard me right. Cereality is a cafe that caters to cereal cravings. I was in amazement. Actually, I was more like, "OHMIGOSH THAT'S THE CEREAL BAR CAN WE GO IN PLEASE?!?!?"

Although I only got a smoothie (which was delicious, by the way--blueberry pineapple, if you need a suggestion), I observed the other customers with interest. The cafe works like a Cold Stone Creamery: you picked different combinations of cereal (or oatmeal) to mix with toppings that ranged from bananas and strawberries to chocolate chips and candy.

Milk machines stood next to the counter, ready to fill the takeout containers (a la Chinese takeout boxes) with skim, soy, chocolate, and any other type of milk you could think of. The brightly-colored restaurant featured kitchen decorations, right down to refrigerator magnets--a sign that cereal can always take you back home.

The smoothie? Unique and perfect. The cafe? One-of-a-kind.

I think this picture I took sums it up.

Cereality locations include Philadelphia, State College, and even a New Jersey airport terminal--another sign that this cafe is just as unique as its products.

Man...if there were a cereal bar in York, I'd never go to work again.

This is very well written! I like your writing style. :-)
