10,000 B.C. blah, but horray to Annie Hall!

Two movies I have recently seen...

I thought 10,000 B.C. would be an epic hit. Full of action, adventure, and true love. Don't forget to add in a bit of histroy, as well. Boy, was I wrong. I wasn't even sure what the movie was about. It had a crazy old woman who could feel the feelings of "her people," a lot of blown-out-of-proportion animals, and guys with dreadlocks. The special effects compared to Jaws were fantastic, but were nothing compared to Lord of the Rings. There were no prominent actors in it, either, which tells you something.

Well, I can be a bit more postive about the movie Annie Hall, which is a classic love story from the 1970's. It was sort of like a "Monty Python" movie (Well it's Woody Allen, what do you expect?), just set in New York City. It had random animation from Snow White, and subtitles that were the character's thoughts instead of actual words. The ending was ok, could have been better. But the rest of the movie was adorable. And for all the fashionistas out there, Annie's outfits were amazing. =]

So if you're bored on a Friday night, I definately recomend Annie Hall, for a cute "feel-good" movie, not 10,000 B.C. , unless you enjoy man-eating ostriches. Enjoy your Friday!
