My eyes are drooping and my fingers are stumbling as I write this, so bear with me friends!
I'm currently writing from Lancaster, Pennsylvania as I'm taking part in the Pennsylvania Academy of Music's "Vivace" music festival. I play the flute there and am having oodles of fun...but the whole practicing for 6 hours a day and playing a concert every night can get a bit exhausting(!). I've just finally gotten to check up on my online shtuff (24 new emails...eek!) and am trying frantically to do everything before I fall asleep.
So. Me...(drums fingers). Well, as you can see/read, I'm a musician. I play flute, recently just stopped playing piano, and hum quite beautifully (is it possible to be a bad hummer?). I overdose on parentheses and ellipses whenever I write extended paragraphs (clearly...). I'm into all things whimsical and memorable. Jon Stewart and Steven Colbert make my weeknights. I like to speak Spanish but I'm not as fluent as I'd like to be. I hate milk. I'm afraid of knees (genuphobia is the tech term). I am a lacto-ovo vegetarian (I don't eat meat, poultry, or fish but I do eat eggs and dairy). I love swimming and lakes and kayaking and hate beaches. I ride my bike everywhere I can and am borderline frantically environmentally conscious. Michael Moore is my idol. I love DC and art museums and buttons and consignment stores and skipping.
