My Kitchen is in a State of Undress

| | Comments (0)

It sounds like a warzone in our house.

My parents have decided for workmen to take over our kitchen this summer to remodel. It's only been three days since they've started, and I'm already sick of this.

Last night I was thinking to myself, "Dude, I should totally make waffles for breakfast tomorrow... Oh wait." Yeah, that was my disillusionment for the night.

So all I've been hearing is the sound of drilling and sawing because they're taking all of our old cabinets and countertops out. I'm most distraught because summer is supposed to be about sleeping in. I haven't exactly gotten past 10 AM yet. And for me, that's too early. Or maybe I'm just lame. Yeah, I'll go with that.

I'm pretty much loving the temperature today, though.
