'THE CAB'...Not just another pop-emo band
NOT Death Cab For Cutie...just "The Cab." Though Death Cab For Cutie's new album is spectacular, The Cab has music deserving of attention as well...
The Cab's music is a diamond in the rough.
People in need of an exciting band that is about to have a huge breakthrough can find them on MySpace, purevolume, and iTunes. The group also appears in many YouTube videos.
The Cab, sadly, is being classified as just another pop-rock-emo band signed to the indie label Fueled By Ramen. The Cab has music for Fall Out Boy, Maroon 5 and Justin Timberlake fans alike.
Their music has a lot of R&B and soul roots. They are definitely not your typical modern-day band. They have beautiful arrangements, including melodic piano melodies and terrific guitar parts.
Alex Deleon's voice (three out of the five members are named Alex) is very soothing and refreshing.
The lyrics don't provide the typical teen-angst topics that many bands smother their music with.
The Cab's first single "One of THOSE Nights" features Brendon Urie of Panic at the Disco and Patrick Stump from Fall Out Boy.
Don't assume The Cab is just another band, they have real talent and potential to become superstars.
The Cab is only a click away at www.myspace.com/thecab. Or, buy the entire album on iTunes.
You will find out that The Cab is a diamond waiting to be discovered under the thick sloppy genre of pop rock.
