Fordham University: "Care for the whole person"

| | Comments (0)

At Fordham University, New York City's Jesuit institution, cura personalis - the care of the whole person - is the administrative catchphrase.

Students of this private, four-year university work toward such development at one of two campuses: The more traditional Rose Hill campus, located in the Bronx, or the city-integrated Lincoln Center campus, located in midtown Manhattan.

While the pursuit of degrees related to business, social sciences and communications are the most popular paths at Fordham, undergraduate majors range from Latin American studies to pre-veterinary medicine.

Student activities are equally varied, with such offerings as intercollegiate and intramural sports and a slew of student organizations, including debate teams, a theater program and a literary magazine.
