it's been a while...

I just returned from vacation with my family in the Poconos for an entire week...and I have missed not having a computer.
My longing for my laptop made me think: why do I need a computer/Myspace/Facebook when I am on vacation with my family? Seriously, how ridiculous is that?

I mean, I love my family and we had tons of things planned. I still wanted my laptop there with me. What is it giving me that I can't live without? I wish I knew the answer because I'd definitely go get myself checked out then lol.

I'm suppose to be away, having fun with those I love and yet, I have the nerve to be bored and uninterested until I check my photo comments? I hate that I'm that way but it's almost like a slight addiction.
Who sent me a message today? How many profile views do I have now? Why didn't anyone answer my bulletin? Woahh, I was tagged in 34 pictures! YES! Really, how lame is that...but hey, I'll be the first one to admit that I do it. I just wish I knew why I enjoyed it so much.

Does anyone else feel this way? Like you almost feel like you're missing out on what your friends are doing if you don't have a comp. with you at all times...I don't know, at least it's a healthier addiction than cigarettes=]
