new puppy;)

I've had dogs for all my life and hope to always have one in whatever home I settle.
It was my brother's birthday yesterday, and after church, I said to my uncle "I think Matthew wants a puppy this year." Now, I said it sarcastically and didn't have any serious tone/inflection in my voice...well, we went to Getty's pet shop on Market Street and bought a 2 month old border collie/beagle mix.
He is gorgeous. So cute, tiny and assertive. His disposition is so well-suited for my 9 year old brother, it's a match made in heaven.
I held him in the car on the way home and then we surprised Matthew with him...they love each other. Playing, jumping, running everywhere. It's awesome that he loves dogs just as much as I do. Oh, and Matt named him Maxx...with 2 x's, "because my name has 2 t's!"
