A General Rant

Well, it's been awhile since I've actually posted anything on the blog, so I suppose I'm overdue. I'm stuck at home with a sore throat anyway. Oh yeah, and I have an Honors Choir concert tomorrow. Fabulous.

Actually, you should really come to that Honors Choir concert. It's on Friday at 7:30 PM at the Pullo Center. It should be rather good, I think. It's our annual concert with the York Youth Symphony, so it's pretty cool for plenty of talented students from all around York to come together and celebrate music. Not to mention that we happen to be singing the hardest piece I have ever tackled in my life. While it's hard and my foot was actually aching from tapping the ever-changing rhythm after last night's rehearsal, I feel satisfied afterwards because I actually worked.

School choir, on the other hand, is a complete and utter drag. I'm basically half-asleep and just go through the motions at this point. It's rather difficult to get anything out of it when your choir teacher is trying to milk a cow who refuses to stand still. In other words, half of the choir took the class for an easy grade and the teacher just can't seem to understand why they don't see to care. Please. Not to mention that half the guys are tone-deaf. But I'll refrain myself from making my rant about school choir go on and on, because it most certainly can.

Let's see. Ah yes, schoolwork and college essays. Fun stuff. I currently have four books to tackle, one of which I have to do a five-day presentation on with nine other people. One book is for my upcoming annual research paper. And then I have tons of AP European History reading, two AP tests and a three- to four-page essay all before winter break. Splendid, splendid. Then I have to finish editing college essays, which I absolutely cannot find the motivation in me to complete. Perhaps it is the early stages of senioritis.

Then there's the issue of spelling, grammar and questionable content on the Teen Takeover blog. But I'll leave your mind to do the evaluation. It isn't too difficult.

And now a word from our sponsor:

I love you Ariel! I'm seriously thinking you are the only hope left for this blog.

Why are the leaders letting people be racist on the blog? Please tell them at next meeting that Olivia is not happy.

I concur. The blog is tanking fast. Some people shouldn't be allowed near a computer.

Thanks, Ariel. Oh, and don't worry about the college essays. I did all mine the day before they were due.

Dawwwwwwwww, thanks guyssssssssssssss lol.

Ariel, I adore the sarcasm. I thought they said senior year was supposed to be the easiest?!?!

And, oh Dylan. Dylan, Dylan, Dylan.

I concur with what you said about choir.... but you can't blame him for being enthusiastic about it!
