"Arsenic and Old Lace" is a classic comedy directed by Frank Capra that has stood the test of time.
Cary Grant stars as newly married Mortimer who discovers his beloved aunts (Josephine Hull and Jean Adair) have been poisoning lonely, old men.
Along with his off-balanced aunts is an even more off-balanced brother who thinks he's Teddy Roosevelt.
All in one night, Mortimer has to make things right for his family and get back to his impatient bride for the honeymoon.
The reason I love this movie so much is because of the timeless actors, the clean comedy, and the fun in watching it all come together wonderfully.
It's extremely hard in this day and age to find a movie that will make you laugh without being rude or inappropriate.
This movie is great for families because it's full of good, clean fun.
Don't let the fact that the film is in black and white intimidate you, because this really is a classic not to be forgotten.
