Yea so i just came across this video where George Bush barely misses being hit by a shoe, not once, but twice! He was in the middle of a news conference with an Iraqi Prime Minister when a reporter hurled his shoes at him. He jokingly said, " If you want the facts, it was a size ten." In the Iraqi culture throwing a shoe is a sign of contempt. The man yelled out statements that Bush was an orphan killer and responsible for many deaths.
All that aside, Bush has some pretty good reflexes for an old guy. I mean this guy threw those shoes with Serena Williams strength. So, I'd like to say, good job President Bush.....I guess dodging all those attacks on Capitol Hill have finally paid off. To see the video clickhere.
It was amazing it was all over the news that next day. But, im not sure if this was on in that culture the bottom of the shoe is the dirtiest part of the body. Really that just shows how much they hate us!
Yeah, apparently in other countries, throwing a shoe at someone is REALLY insulting.
I think it's hilarious that he was able to dodge them so swiftly. And he was like...smiling as he was doing it!
