The Apple iPhone is on a gadget throne

| | Comments (0)

Christmas is coming, and it's time for the arrival of everyone's favorite jolly, bearded, red-clad pal.

This year, ask the man himself for something that brings out a bit of green envy in your holiday guests.

The Apple iPhone screams sleek, and its impeccable design and range of abilities gives it a notable presence.

With its 3G technology (a fancy way of saying very fast) and 8GB and 16GB capacities, you can choose from a shiny black or a bright white (only in 16GB).

With the touch of a button (and yes, there is only one main button), the screen comes to life, displaying all of its impressive features.

These include e-mail, Internet, phone, address book, calendar, camera, as well as text messaging, a music player and photo storage capabilities.

The user can also download a wide assortment of cheap (and sometimes free) iTunes applications that range from a graphing calculator to a Sudoku game to a flashlight.

Everything is easy to access and the on-screen typing keyboard, though not designed for those with wider fingers, is manageable with a little practice.

Since purchasing an iPhone is a bit of a process, and you might encounter a waiting list, I would recommend getting started early before the mad Christmas Eve-procrastinator rush.

However, once you have your new in your possession, I promise that opening it will be just as fun as setting it up and using it for the first time.

But be cautious, once someone hears of your cutting-edge Apple product, you will instantly obtain a collection of new "friends" who will be dying to use it.
