"Three Flights from Alto Nido" calms all nerves

San Diego-based multi-talented singer, songwriter and producer Greg Laswell has created the perfect relaxation album. "Three Flights from Alto Nido" will surely relieve any stress.

Laswell's somewhat-indie musical style is one that is all his own. He puts a fresh, delightfully new twist on an older Beatles-like sound. With his sensationally soothing vocals and minimalist instrumental style, Laswell addresses common relationship woes with calm melodies and underlying energetic beats, creating a contrary, yet interesting, mood.

Alto Nido," Laswell's third release, explores romance with musical metaphors in songs such as "That It Moves" and "How the Day Sounds." He addresses memories and longing in "Not Out," and he sings of teamwork and acceptance to the gentle yet driving beat of "I'd Be Lying."

While "Alto Nido" (contains predominantly guitar tracks, Laswell's intermittent application of banjo strumming, twinkling music box notes and mellow humming adds a whole different dimension to the album.

Good for a rainy or sunny day, Laswell's creation ensures a soothing release for the imagination.
