Conquering Fears

Today I conquered one of my few random fears. I rode a bike for the first time since I was in 6th grade. When I was in 6th grade I was riding a bike to downtown New Freedom. I was coming down a rather large hill when I lost control of the bike and slammed into a brick sign, which happened to be the Police Department's sign. I snapped the metal rod in the front of the bike, took the skin off most of my knuckles, damaged my shoulder, cut up my legs, and worst of all I cracked my helmet in two. It was a pretty horrific accident for me. Needless to say I did not get a bike for a long time until today!
