Did Disney Create Monopoly?

Yes, I know Disney had nothing to do with the Parker Brothers' Monopoly board game, but I couldn't think of a title. Regardless, I just wanted to quickly say that, no matter what you think of Walt Disney and his legacy of work, I think the corporation is brilliance. I have recently developed a strange affinity (or infatuation) for Disney Channel and its childish, squeaky-cleanly censored shows; I am finding it astounding that Disney does not even use any commercials that are not affiliated with Disney itself. It leaves me to wonder: how can they pull that off?! Dag, they must be really rich. Or just really smart.
