No Fair

On the eve of student day at the fair, I am continuously bombarded with the same inquiry of "Are you going to the fair?". The answer remains a less than regrettable no. Not meaning to take away from others enjoyment of the York Fair, but I find little entertainment in such a place. Crowds of people and an overwhelming amount of noise from various sources do not appeal to me. Also, I remain a bit apprehensive of large metal structures (also known as rides) that can be set up in a short period of time. I find myself questioning their stability. To anyone going to the fair today, tomorrow, or any day, I sincerely hope you enjoy yourself. However, you will not see me there.
