Overlooking the little things

So i was driving my two neighbors and myself to our fourth day of school this morning. I take a back road on the way because i think its faster (little creek rd.). well at the end of the road where you turn onto roths church rd where our school is theres usually a big red stop sign. its a pretty bad turn because you cant really see cars coming either way so the stop sign is pretty neccessary. This morning as i was slowing down to approach the stop sign, i realized the stop sign wasn’t there. When i came to a complete stop i found myself (and my other two passengers) were looking around and laughing, trying to find the missing stop sign. I mean the pole wasn’t even there its not like someone just stole the stop sign.
This made me think all day… about stop signs and simple other little things that are so simple and that we see everyday and how if they weren’t there well it would be pretty bad.
I passed this intersection missing the stop sign four times today and there’s no sign of the poor missing stop sign… but i hope a new one goes up soon before someone just tries to go right through the intersection…

I’m sorry to point this out, but you also “overlooked” grammar rules, which are not “little things.”
