Actors, Actresses and Best Picture, oh my!

If anyone but Natalie Portman would have won I would have thrown my remote through the window across from my couch. She did the most fantastic job in “Black Swan” and deserves all this praise and more.
Colin Firth! Colin Firth! Colin Firth! After losing the award he deserved last year, I am overjoyed that he got his Oscar. He inspired us more playing historic royalty than the movie about Facebook ever could have.
AND BEST PICTURE GOES TO…
“The King’s Speech!” It had everything a great movie could and should. It is customary for the same movie to win for directing and best picture.
A victory for stutterers and anyone who’s faced “You can’t.”
Thanks for reading, turn off the TV before you have to listen to elementary children sing “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.”
