From pomegranates to candy land

We got a little creative at our April staff meeting and asked Teen Takeover staffers to write a random sentence and the build on the sentence before reading only the previous lollipop.jpgsentence. This is how it went:
I don’t know why there was a pomegranate in my sock drawer.
Maybe I put it there thinking I’d go hungry.
I am paranoid when it comes to these things.
Ghost hunters creep me out!
I once watched “Ghost Busters,” and I had to hide under the pillow.
There are many unusual stories in the world.
Traveling to Ghana is groovy.
But it kinda gets old after the third malaria outbreak.
Just like being a colonist in Jamestown.
The lack of digital prowess is what led to my downfall.
And that has led me to this magical candy land.

  1. Mrs. Mokris says:

Kinda weird when you can read ten sentences and correctly pick out the one that your teen wrote.

  2. Jess says:

Great exercise suggestion. I love our story.
