My reckless abandon.
Only having filled a couple pages of my “Wreck This Journal”, it is already looking pretty worn and loved. “Wreck This Journal” by, Keri Smith is a book filled with activities that help you destroy and fill your journal.
The page I enjoyed the most could very easily be looked at as a disaster, but I find it to be a masterpiece. On this specific page I was instructed to, ” Scribble wildly, violently, with reckless abandon.” I did just that, making sure I used as many colored pens as I could, I covered as much space as possible. It was energizing, scribbling with as much reckless abandon I could muster. One forgets how much fun it is to scribble and once again remembers why as a four year old, with poor coloring skills you always resolved to the enjoyable task of scribbling over all the lines. I can’t wait to work on more pages in my journal and make more discoveries.
