Phone cases are a must for anyone with a smartphone, especially if you’re lucky enough to have the iPhone 5. Just one drop can lead to a shattered back or cracked screen, and the normal wear of everyday use leaves scratches and dents. But the best protective cases can be bulky in a guy’s pocket; or they don’t fit at all into a girl’s wristlet.
This is why the iPhone 5 VAULTkase from Scosche was perfectly designed to combine a phone case with a wallet.
The VAULTkase is similar to an OtterBox with its combination of a hard and soft shell for ultimate protection of your iPhone, but the back of the VAULTkase case has a compartment that can be opened. That compartment holds credit cards, I.D.’s and money. It can even fit other small objects like change, pens, nail files or thin tubes of Chap Stick.
This case’s features work perfectly for teens, because it’s easiest to keep track of our valuables if they’re all in one place. I think VAULTkase is best for sporting events and day trips because it holds everything you need conveniently, without the hassle of a purse or bag.
Maybe it’s the child in each of us that loves the idea of having a “secret compartment” that makes VAULTkase seem so cool.
The compartment’s door can also double as a kick-stand so you can use your FaceTime video app less awkwardly with your iPhone.
VAULTkase comes in the colors black, white and grey, and can be purchased at www.scosche.com. They’re pricey at about $45, but remember, it’s not just a case, you’re getting a protective skin for your iPhone that also doubles as a wallet.
