Susquehannock girls’ lacrosse team shows support for Seton Hill team touched by tragedy

By now, news about tragedy that struck the Seton Hill Girls’ Lacrosse team on March 16 has touched hearts all over and now local high schools are showing their support for the girls as well. At Susquehannock High School, the Girls’ lacrosse team is supporting Seton

Hill both on and off the field. Last week, each girl wrote ‘S.H.’ beside a heart on her stick and on her wrist is the name and number of one of the players from the Seton Hill team along with the initials ‘K.Q.’ for the team’s head coach, Kristina Quigley, who died in the bus crash.

It’s not just high school teams, but also local colleges are offering ways to support the Quigley family. The Millersville women’s lacrosse team is selling crimson and gold wristbands with the slogan “onelaxfamily” and the initials “KQ” for $8 to help raise money for Kristie Quigley’s son, Gavin Quigley’s, college fund. The school also has a link on its blog to donate money for Gavin Quigley’s college fund.
