alex britton fishes with barbie flatfish

| | Comments (0)

Hey everyone. I'm Alex Peterson (my middle name is Britton, pronounced just like the country in Europe) and I attend Central York High School. If you're forgetting who I am, I was the one who waltzed in late to the first intro-meeting a few Fridays ago...yeah that's me.

I love fishing, I just got back from Canada two days ago with my family and one of my best friends. We caught over 400 fish in 6 days, it was awesome. I love being outside and just being in the wilderness I guess you can call it.

I also love traveling, going anywhere and everywhere. I traveled to Europe twice, once in 2000 and once in 2005. I visited England and France with friends and family. It was an experience of a lifetime and I plan to go back someday soon.

Being a Muslim Teen in America

It was supposed to be a simple trip to the mall. It was just her and her family, walking amongst the other everyday Americans who roam the tiled floors and glance at the stone-faced mannequins.

Unfortunately, fourth grader Mariam El-Maghrabi caught sight of something unexpected and shocking.

She stared at a man dressed in a shirt that portrayed a scope of a gun over the head of a woman dressed in a hijab, a Muslim head covering. On the shirt, it clearly stated: All Muslims Must Die.
