In 2001, York Daily Record sportswriter Chrissi Pruitt-Jennings wrote a series of in-depth articles on Spring Grove High School student-athlete Natalie Goodfellow, who tore the ACL in her left knee and went through a grueling surgery and rehabilitation.
Goodfellow is now a junior at Lebanon Valley College, where she is a standout member of the women's volleyball team. And she's having a breakout season. She's shown that you can come back from "a devastating tear," as we called her injury, and have a spectacular athletic career.
Last Friday, Goodfellow tallied 13 kills, leading Lebanon Valley to a 3-0 win over visiting Alvernia. To read more about that match, click here.
