A rainout?

Don’t high schools play baseball in the spring?

Here are some numbers to ponder while waiting for the rain dates, unless your school is one of the four slogging it out in the mud tonight. In that case, bring your waders and enjoy.

1:9.2 — The ratio of carries to touchdowns for York Suburban tailback Dustin Gatewood. He also leads the league in points scored with 66.
7.8 — Points per game allowed by Central York.
9 — Fumbles lost by William Penn.
10 — Interceptions by York Suburban’s defense.
24.7 — Yards per catch by Red Lion’s Ed Kiser.
181.1 — The passer rating for Susquehannock quarterback Andy McCoy, the highest in the YAIAA by almost 40 points.
300.3 — Yards per game allowed by Eastern York.
