Just a little thing, but...
Paul Posluszny has been named a semifinalist for the 36th Rotary Lombardi Award, which is presented to the nation's top lineman or linebacker.
He is one of 12 semifinalists and one of only three non-seniors. Four finalists will be selected in mid-November and the winner will be announced Dec. 7 at the gala Rotary Lombardi Award Dinner in Houston.
Earlier this month, Posluszny became the first Big Ten football player to be named Player of the Week three consecutive times.
Now, of course, the worry is this: Will Posluszny go pro after this season? You have to project him as a first-round draft pick right now. He's going to be a tremendous NFL player.
