Honors for Goodfellow, Roth

Two Lebanon Valley College women’s volleyball players with local ties have been honored by the American Volleyball Coaches Association.

Spring Grove graduate Natalie Goodfellow, a junior, was named to the AVCA All-Mid-Atlantic Region team.

And Delone Catholic graduate Cat Roth, a senior, earned honorable mention status on the same team.

It was the first AVCA award for Goodfellow, who is an outside hitter. She set a single-season school record this fall with 493 kills. She also became the fourth player in school history to surpass 1,000 career kills.

Roth, a setter, earned honorable mention honors for the second year in a row. She led the Commonwealth Conference with 11.87 assists per game. For her career, she is tops in school history with 5,204 assists and second with 1,377 digs.
