Posluszny ponders NFL

| | Comments (0)

Staff writer Frank Bodani reports that Penn State All-Everything linebacker Paul Posluszny wants to return to Penn State next year, but simply isn't sure yet whether he will.

“I’d like to come back to Penn State, but I have to weigh my options and take a look at that after the season, he said on Friday afternoon.

There has been plenty of speculation in recent weeks as to what decision the junior will make after the Nittany Lions play Florida State in the Orange Bowl. Posluszny has been named to several All-America teams and also has won awards as the nation’s top defensive player and the nation’s top linebacker.

He figures to be a high NFL Draft pick in April if he decides to leave college early. But there are other things to consider.

“The main thing really is my teammates, he said. “I don’t want to leave them. These guys are like brothers, and they’re friends for the rest of my life. That’s probably the big thing.
