Reader letter on JoePa vs. NOW

I read your article on Joe Paterno’s remarks that angered the National Organization for Women. Honestly, I think it’s absolutely ridiculous. How can an organization like NOW pick certain individuals to go after?

Hmmm. Why didn’t NOW ever have a problem with the mistreatment of women that was done by President Clinton?

Let’s see, they go full force after a 79-year-old coach who made remarks that don’t even seem offensive to me, and yet they allowed President Clinton to abuse his position of power over women again and again.

It just doesn’t seem right. It looks very partisan to me.

How did Tom manage to make this overblown story political?

What amazes me more than the fact that right wing crazies will always find a way to blame Bill Clinton for anything is that the Daily Record saw fit to put this on a featured spot of their blog.
