Sean Johnston (pictured) had a huge game as the York Catholic boys' basketball team defeated Delone Catholic, 60-42, on Saturday afternoon in the PIAA Class AA quarterfinals at Hersheypark Arena.
The Irish (30-3) advance to face Prep Charter (26-5), which defeated Trinity on Saturday afternoon in another Class AA quarterfinal. That state semifinal will be held Wednesday at a time and site to be announced later.
Last season, York Catholic stunned Prep Charter, from District 12, 45-43, in the second round of the state tournament. So Prep Charter will surely be out for revenge this time around against the Irish.
