Local girls win soccer title

York's Danielle Rutter, Danielle Krohn, Sabrina Temple and Samantha Temple are members of the Hershey Attack U-14 girls' soccer team, which recently won the championship of the Region 1 Premier League.

The Attack defeated PDA Fire from New Jersey, 2-0, in the finals and earned a trip to the U.S. Youth Soccer Region 1 Championships, which will be held June 29 to July 4 in Virginia Beach, Va. The Region 1 Premier League is made up of the 16 best teams in the region that stretches from Virginia through Maine.
