What is your level of interest in the upcoming World Cup, which is being held in Germany from June 9 through July 9?
How many of the games will you watch? Are you following or rooting for a team other than the United States?
We're looking for everyone from soccer addicts to casual fans to tell us their thoughts on the World Cup.

Right now, it looks like Brazil is favored to win the Cup. They're followed by Germany, England, Italy,
Argentina, France and Holland. We tend to like the Netherlands (if USA gets eliminated), because, as you know, in York, we're Pennyslvania 'Dutch' and the Holland team color is Oranje -- just like one of the colors in York's Central, Northeastern and Suburban school districts! Also, Holland has one of the most sparkling players in the world -- Rutgerus Johannes Martinius Ruud van Nistelrooij, sometimes shortened to Ruud van Nistelrooy. How could one not like a team with a play that has a name that long?!?
We've heard that many of the matches are to be broadcast with no commercials -- just like they do in other countries -- which should be a treat.
I have my own World Cup blog – worldcupfever2006.blogspot.com about my experiences. Know a good site when I see one. Keep up the good work.
OK, ok -- we realize that *some Yorkers* may contend that the 'Dutch' in Pennsylvania Dutch is a variant of the word Deutsche, as in Germany and not Holland. Those Dutch Yorkers may be interested to watch Germany's -- Michael Ballack, a mid field player that some soccer fans are comparing to the legendary Franz Beckenbauer.
soccer sucks, who cares
