A number of former Penn State football players will be among the participants in Friday’s Celebrity Basketball Classic at Voni B. Grimes Gym in York.
Doors open at 11 a.m. and there will be a pair of basketball games — York County all-stars playing at 11:30 a.m. and the sports celebrities playing at 1:30 p.m.
Participants in the celebrity game will include former Nittany Lions Tisen Thomas, Steve Wisniewski, Troy Drayton, Andre Powell, Reggie Givens and Keith Goganious.
Also participating will be Zack Crockett, Lincoln Kennedy and Louis Lipps.
Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students and childrens, with proceeds going to M.J. Anderson’s Loving Care, a non-profit organization that provides low-income housing for senior citizens.
