Report: Steelers warned Roethlisberger

| | Comments (0)

ESPN reports that the Steelers warned Ben Roethlisberger in writing last year that he might jeopardize portions of his contract if he continued to ride a motorcycle.

The letter may have served dual purposes: A written version of the team's stance on Big Ben's motorcycling, and to put the Steelers on firmer legal ground if they need to recover parts of Roethlisberger's signing bonus or salary, in the even of an accident.
