The Keystone Games are coming

| | Comments (0)

I’m getting lots of e-mails from local folks excited about next week’s Keystone State Summer Games. Some tidbits:

-- There are 34 swimmers, including several mother-daughter teams, from the York YWCA Synchroettes slated to compete in the Games.

-- Billy Kerr, 15, of Codorus Township is getting an early start on the fun. He’s on the local lacrosse team that’s competing Friday and Saturday up in State College.

-- Nicholas Shields, 9, and Bryce Shields, 7, of York Township will be competing in the wrestling competition and are looking forward to the clinc being offered by Olympian Rulon Gardner.
